IT’s February, Black History Month!
February is designated Black History Month in honor of struggles and achievements by Black Americans! In looking back, here is a 1960’s video clip showing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., in one of his keynote addresses in Washington, DC. This clip highlights the petition drive by all races, to integrate American public schools! Also featured is Bayard Rustin, another prominent civil rights leader! Listen carefully to the singing and hear Dr. Maya Angelou! Check it out!
