It is possible that Rosie’s show will air around 9:00 pm E.S.T. which will pit her up against CNN’s “Larry King” and Fox’s “Hannity and Colmes”, who are also in this time slot. Not a bad position if you ask me.

Rosie left ABC’s “The View” in May 2007 and has been rumored get a game show hosting gig and other television spots. Rosie had many fans who watched her on “The View” and will be quite happy to see her return to television. Of course, there will be the usual detractors.

It sounds like a done deal except for some minor details that must be worked out like, how much she will get paid, and will her show also appear on the NBC broadcast network. Her show will replace MSNBC’s “Live with Dan Abrams” which was not getting the ratings like expected.

Keep your eye out for the Rosie foes like Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly and the likes trying to stir the muddy waters about her return to T.V., but we will watch and wait for the Rosie return.

Democratic Presidential hopefuls were in South Carolina today for a first of it’s kind debate format! CNN put together a multimedia debate where the questions to the presidential hopefuls, came from people who submitted videos to Youtube! Anderson Cooper kept it all together as the moderator of the Youtube debate!

The video questions from the people to the candidates were preselected issues by CNN in order to keep some continuity! The Democratic candidates seem to be a bit reserved at first, but then followed Hillary Clinton’s and Barak Obama’s lead who seemed like multimedia pros, began to loosen up and get serious with “the tube”!

Hat’s off to CNN and Anderson Cooper for trying something as risky as a multimedia debate! It worked! As technology and the internet continue to blossom, there should be more, somewhat direct interaction with candidates and other political figures, with the people who elects them!

Could this be the start of a “true democracy” where the issues of the people, are addressed by the people seeking their representation? Youtube is here to stay and can only get better!

Whether you like Rosie or not, she did brighten up “The View” with her mostly lively personality! Now it seems like the show is going down hill fast! I cannot think of any one on t.v. who can bring that realism, like Rosie did to “The View” ! She was outspoken, fearless, generous and not to mention funny on that show, to give it many aspects to view it from!

In case you were not around last week, Rosie opted out of the remaining three weeks of her contract due to a fierce tongue lashing she gave Elizabeth Hasselback (the other co-host), about being a real friend! It all started when the mainstream, conservative media outlets said that Rosie called our troops “terrorists” in Iraq, which I have yet to find true and Rosie asked Elizabeth, “did she really think that Rosie thinks our troops are terrorists”? Rosie asked her to answer “yes” or “no” to that question, and Elizabeth danced all around it! So Rosie blew a gasket that Elizabeth’s hesitation sounded like doubt and like she did not know Rosie!

Now think about it, if a person you thought was your friend dis you in public, wouldn’t you be pissed and ready to take some action? Well most people who let someone into their personal life as a friend would snap and feel betrayed, if all of a sudden that so-called friend pretends that they do not know you in front of others!

Anyway, “The View” should try and bring Rosie back and can that other one, she is easy to replace!

I totally could relate to Rosie being fuming mad at Elizabeth! They are co-workers and somewhat friends, and Elizabeth seem to become a fair weather friend! When things are in season, she’s a friend! That to me is called betrayal! She even through up Donald Trump’s name at Rosie to try and dig, but it backfired in her face Big Time! Donald Trump has since called Elizabeth, “the dumbest person on t.v.! Oh well!

Later today, ABC stated that Rosie will not be returning “The View” to finish her few weeks left on her contract. I really enjoyed watching Rosie resurrect that show and put a little reality and maturity, in the non-teen viewing segment! Too bad for “The View”, because the ratings and viewer ship grew when Rosie came on the show! I guess we will have to wait and see what Rosie does next, because she should be on t.v.! All those other viewpoints are everywhere! There needs to be more people like Rosie on t.v. to stir debate! What’s Barbara Walters going to do now?

You can’t blame Rosie for being betrayed on t.v. by a so-called friend! I would be pissed too!

Now, American Idol have become a game for those who want the worst singer or the “not so bad” singer! There are campaigns to keep the least likely to succeed in the music business on American Idol, on the internet blogs, myspace and other social sites!

Take this season for example, Melinda Doolittle could sing better than Jordin and Blake with a scratchy voice and yet she was voted off! Did you hear those performances last night?

Blake sounded like someone had the wrong speed set on the turntable! The speed on the turntable was slow and dragging by the way he sang his songs! I thought my T.V. power was fading off and on! As Blake performed, I thought Sanjaya would have been a better pick! At least Sanjaya, gave you some showmanship with the hair and wardrobe to soften his bleak vocals!

Oh and Jordin! How old is she, seventeen? So can anyone tell me why this girl is dressing like a woman in her 40’s? I am not knocking the older women, but Jordin should lighten up and show a little flare and style of the young women today! I am no fashion expert by a long shot, but I watch T.V. and read magazines about what celebrities are wearing to know that what she had on is not photogenic or impressionable! She needs a little help in the young woman’s look department! But she sang alright!

Jordin should win American Idol, if this is “a singing competition” like Simon Cowell always says!

Melinda Doolittle is by far a better performer and singer than Jordin Sparks or Blake Lewis! As a matter of fact, you can put both of them together and they still cannot sing as well as Melinda!

I would always hear Simon Cowell remind the contestants and the audience, that “this is a singing competition” and thought, we know that! Well, I guess it is not all about singing, which probably explains how Sanjaya remained on the show for so long! The American Idol audience must be voting for hair and anything else but singing talent!

I like Jordin as a runner up! Why, I was in Phoenix during the time she made her vistit back to Glendale, Arizona and grew to like her personality even more! Phoenix had the Jordin homecoming on every channel so you could not help but watch it!

Blake is also different in his own way, but I could not hear his vocals stand out! He can do human beat box pretty good, and I guess that might be interpreted as singing to some!

Melinda Doolittle may not have become the American Idol on T.V., but I am sure she will rock the music charts with her strong vocals! Good luck to Jordin and Blake!

I have watched The View, off and on for several years, and thought that when Star Jones Reynolds left the show that there would not be any more color on the show (no pun intended)! The rumors were flying about how Star would leave because Rosie O’Donnell was coming to the show. I thought that The View would take a leap over a short cliff, without someone with varied opinions, such as Star displayed on the show.

Boy, was I wrong! Rosie is the best thing to happen to that show! She entertains the audience with performances from major Broadway shows! She gives away sponsors’ products and showcases them in a way to make people want to go out and buy them, ASSET! No holds barred opinions sheds light in a “don’t ask, don’t tell” America! I do not agree with all of her opinions, but she sure makes you form an opinion, which is a good thing!

Seems like The View management caved in to the always correct “Fox Folks” and the “Dump Truck” and decided to can Rosie.

Rosie can have a show of her own, and if it’s up against “The View”, Rosie will win hands down! Keep us posted Rosie so, we can watch your next show!

I am a fan of India’s Bollywood, and think that Sanjaya would make a terrific star in one of the large musical productions that Bollywood is known for. If you have not seen a Bollywood video, they are musical numbers performed mostly by top stars from India with a large, colorful and rhythmic supporting cast. Very entertaining to say the least. So I think there is still fame in the stars for Sanjaya!
