Sarah Palin Is A Grandma(2)

Bristol and LeviCongratulations is in order to Sara Palin on the birth of her new grandson, Tripp! Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin’s oldest daughter, gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday December 28, 2008. Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, weighed in at 7lb, 4oz according to Collen Jones, the sister of Bristol’s grandmother Sally Heath, as reported by People. The father of Tripp is Levi Johnston, the boyfriend of Bristol Palin.

“We think it’s wonderful,” said Jones, the sister of Bristol’s grandmother Sally Heath. “The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.”

The baby’s father is an apprentice electrician and former Wasilla High School hockey player. He and Bristol have been dating for three years.

Bristol Palin is completing her high-school diploma through correspondence courses. Johnston is studying to become an electrician. He and Bristol plan to wed in 2009 and raise the child together.

Bristol Palin’s pregnancy became a topic of discussion during the 2008 Presidential election when her mother, Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin was selected by Republican Presidential Nominee, John McCain as his Vice-Presidential running mate. During the time of the campaign, Bristol was considered to be a pregnant teen and unmarried. These set of circumstances caused a hoopla within many of the conservative political camps.

O.J. Simpson Got A Bum Wrap(0)

Somebody steals your personal belongings. Your initial instinct is to find out who has them and try to get them back from the thief! Hold on, if you are O.J. Simpson, some people take your personal stuff, you try to get it back and you get 15 YEARS in prison!

It appears that finally the conspiracy to convict O.J. of any crime since his acquittal of the murders of his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman has produced fruit. Ever since O.J. was acquitted in Los Angeles in 1995, the Goldman family and others who were unhappy with the “not guilty” verdict of the jury in Los Angeles, have relentlessly tried to have the man put away behind bars for so much as smiling in public.

Come on, since school age, whenever someone stole your property, you would try to find out where it was and go get it.

I am no fan O.J. Simpson. If I were him and knew that so many people were really out to get me, I would have calculated my every step on the daily. His decision to do what most of us would do if someone stole our stuff, take it back, was not smart. However, the O.J. SImpson verdict and sentencing today appears as a travesty of justice to me! When Las Vegas Judge Jackie Glass, indicated that her decision in the sentencing of O.J. Simpson was not influenced by the Los Angeles verdict in 1995, gave me pause.

Election is One Day Obama(0)

The lines to vote at early voting locations have been sometimes up to three hours and maybe eight hours in some instances. One report from a friend in the Los Angeles area arrived at the County Registrars’ office two-hours before the polling place opened and then waited for another two hours before casting their vote. These are the same stories told by people all of the country who have early voting capability. The anticipation to vote in an American Election is the highest since I can remember! Barack Obama has stirred the American spirit with his get out the vote campaign message. It’s working for all parties, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians and others all see an increase in voter participation! The turn out to the early voting polls have been huge to say the least. I cannot imagine what tomorrow, Election Day will bring, except that there are going to be millions of Americans exercising the right to vote and long lines.

In the midst of this excitement surrounding this electrifying voting year, days before the election, Democratic Presidential Nominee, Barack Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham passed away. We express our sincerest condolences to Barack Obama and his family for their loss. (more…)
